3.6 Illustration of certain definitions

The terms that appear above the central horizontal line (related to parameters and ) are parameters that are fixed by the design of the load cell. The terms that appear below that line (related to parameters and ) are parameters that are variable, dependent on the conditions of the test of a load cell (in particular, those load cells used in weighing instruments).
