5.2.2 Interval and marks of analog scales
If an analog scale is fitted, the distance between the scale marks shall be at least . The interval of the marks shall be smaller than or equal to 2 % of the span of the analog scale.
The thickness of the pointer shall not exceed one quarter of the distance between the scale marks. The pointer shall overlap at least one third of the shortest scale mark and shall be clearly seen.
The height of the figures shall be at least and they shall be marked in such a way that any misinterpretation is not possible.
