5.2.3 Measuring container bottles

In addition to the requirements of 5.2.1, measuring container bottles shall be marked with one of the following marks, either on the lower rim or the bottom:

• when filled to a constant level: the distance, expressed in followed by the symbol from the brim to the filling level corresponding to the nominal capacity; or

• when filled to a constant ullage: the number, expressed in mL followed by the symbol that is equal to the brim capacity.
